The Visit to the National Library by the USA Ambassador to Lithuania
The Ambassador of the USA Ms Deborah A. McCarthy visited the Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania on 3 May. She saw the Library’s collection of Judaica documents.
The Ambassador met the Director-General of the National Library Prof. Dr. Renaldas Gudauskas and the Chief Archivist of Lithuania Ramojus Kraujelis, with whom she discussed the results and perspectives of the “YIVO Vilnius Project” implemented together with the YIVO Institute for Jewish Research.
