The new virtual exhibition “Jonas Mikelinskas – 90”

taryba3The new virtual exhibition, dedicated to 90th birth anniversary of famous Lithuanian novelist, National Culture and Art Prize winner Jonas Mikelinskas, is prepared in the National Library. The writer is an author of ten novels and numerous short stories, publicistic and essayistic books.



The exhibition presents books of Jonas Mikelinskas (taken from collections of the National Library), photos from family archive and printed in some publications, manuscripts, fragments of the celebrant, speeches of active-public figure J. Mikelinskas on political and cultural issues, extracts of memories about his colleagues and creators, literary lists about writers creation.
