PATS SAU workshop for children and young people has opened its door in the National Library

Cannot find a quiet place to finish an important school project? Or maybe you are into building things or handicrafts? As of 16 February, visitors are welcome to visit PATS SAU workshop of the Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania; here, you will find space for the realisation of your ideas and a box to hold the resulting creations.

PATS SAU: open workshop of the Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania for school-age children and young people. PATS SAU: create, discover, preserve, be curious, achieve, recognise, record.

The workshop offers over two dozen well-equipped individual workstations, 3D printer, vinyl and thermofilm cutter, thermal press, mini sublimation printer, robotics and electronics kits, programming microcomputers, computers with the necessary software and various materials to realise your ideas. If tired or waiting for industrious workers, enjoy the relaxation and reading space.

Come up with a project and invite your father or mother (brother, friend, neighbour, passerby...) to visit the workshop and make your project a reality. Feeling out of ideas? No problem – we have plenty and are eager to share. After all, getting started is what matters most!

The workshop will be opened on 16 February: the opening events are part of the February 16th routes dedicated to the statehood of Lithuania inviting to learn more about Lithuanian heritage, people and state while celebrating. The workshop is part of the green and red route; advance registration is required.
