Director General of the National Library Prof. Dr. Renaldas Gudauskas together with Minister of Culture Dr. A. Gelūnas participated at the event of project Europeana results’ presentation in Brussels on May 9. EU members, minsters of culture, education and science, leaders of European national memory institutions – national libraries, archives, museums, delegates of creative industries and universities represented their countries at the event.

Digitization experiences of culture were widely discussed during the seminar.

Minister of Culture A. Gelūnas talked about Lithuania's preparation to participate in sustainability activities of the project Europeana.

The National Library of Lithuania is the national coordinator of the project “Europeana Awareness” since 2012.
