The new virtual exhibition “Aleksys Churginas, a man, lifted up Dante's voice”, dedicated to 100th birth anniversary of poet and translator is prepared in the National Library.
A. Churginas translated Dante's “Divine Comedy”, W. Shakespeare's tragedies (Hamlet, King Lear and others) as well as his sonnets, J. W. Goethe's “Faust”, works of P. Corneille, Molière and other world’s most famous writers.
The Library expresses its gratitude to Vladas Žukas, who helped in preparing this exhibition.
