Palanga Summer Reading Room (already 46th season) invites everyone – from the youngest to the oldest – to spend great time meaningfully.
Palanga Summer Reading Room offers an attractive book, magazine and newspaper collection, wireless internet.

Environment of the Palanga Summer Reading Room is decorated by exhibitions:

  • The exhibition from collections of Oriental Reading Room of the National Library “Colors of Thailand”;
  • Paintings exhibition “Faith, Hope, Love” of Lendrūna Moncevičienė;
  • The exhibition of students works of lecturer Ieva Paltanavičiūtė and professor Algirdas Dovydėnas (of Department of Monumental Arts and Scenography of Vilnius Academy of Arts) “Miracle of Stained Glass”;
  • Graphic works exhibition “Touches” of Elvyra Katalina Kriaučiūnaitė;
  • The exhibition of Palanga Stasys Vainiūnas’ music school art studio pupils’ works;
  • Wood carvings exhibition “Masks” of folk artist Albertas Žulkus;
  • Silk exhibition “Bloom” of Daiva Stonkuvienė.
