The new European Library portal was presented at LIBER conference
The new European Library portal (www.theeuropeanlibrary.org ) was presented at the annual conference of LIBER Association of European Research Libraries inTartuUniversity on June 27-30. This is a joint catalogue of European national and research libraries, consisting of over 10 million digital documents and 200 million bibliographic records of documents.
The National Library of Lithuania is a member of the European Library since 2007; the European Library portal provides possibility of search in the LIBIS Union Catalogue, the National Library Online Catalogue and the National Bibliographic Data Bank ofLithuania. Director General of the National Library Prof. Dr. Renaldas Gudauskas is a member of the Board of the European Library. Specialists of Public Relations Department of the National Library and Lithuanian Integral Library Information system (LIBIS) Centre participate in activities of specialized working groups.
