Lithuanian experience of standards application presented in Moscow

The 5th international scientific conference „Book Culture. Past Experience and Nowadays Problems“ took place in Moscowon October 24–26. The conference was organized on the occasion of the 265th anniversary of Academic Printing House in Russia.
Scientists and researchers fromRussia,Ukraine,Belarus,BulgariaandLithuaniaparticipated in the event. Dr. Nijolė Bliūdžiuvienė, the chief librarian of Standards and Methods Department, National Centre of Digitization and Virtual Electronics Heritage System of the Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania, represented Lithuania and delivered report at the plenary session on evaluation of Lithuanian experience of publishing standards application and its‘ legal regulation. The Conference work was organized in plenary session and three sections, analysing relevant issues of book culture history and nowadays problems.
The organizer of the Conference was the Russian Academy of Sciences (the Scientific Council „World Culture History“, the Academic Publishing Centre „Nauka“, the Research Centre of Book Culture History).
