A gift to the National Library of Lithuania – received right from Brazil

Director General of Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania Prof. Dr. Renaldas Gudauskas got a present during his visit to Brazil on March 4–12 – Andre Pinto, a son of famous Brazilian writer Joao Oscar, presented his father‘s book with a personal dedication to the National Library of Lithuania.
At this time, cultural cooperation plans for Brazil and Lithuania are under development; the national libraries of both states should play an important role in it.
Joao Oscar‘s book Juventude vermelha tells about student movements in Brazil in the sixties.
