Ask a Librarian

The purpose of this service is to provide brief factual information about Library services and collections. When possible, we will attempt to respond to your question within 48 hours, Monday through Friday. To enable us to serve you better, please send us e-mail: klausk@lnb.lt

Policies:

1. An initial response will normally be provided within 48 hours, except on weekends, holidays, and unscheduled closings.
2. Electronic Reference provides answers to brief factual questions. This includes checking library holdings, and verifying information on specific books or magazines.
3. Interlibrary Loan requests are not provided through this service. Please send such request to tba@lnb.lt.
4. The requests on specific subject are provided only for fee acording the price list of the National Library of Lithuania.
5. Our library does not provide genealogical information. Please visit the Lithuanian Archives Department under the Government of the Republic of Lithuania website.
