Since 2003 the database has not been continued. Up-to-date information is accumulated in the National bibliographic data bank (NBDB).

    NBDB, initiated in 1998, at present contains over 1,159,362 bibliographic records (data of February 1st, 2008 ).
    The structure of the NBDB:
    Bibliographic records of documents. Over 102,172 bibliographic records of books, printed music, objects of fine art, maps, serials, audio and video records, and e-recourses, released in Lithuania and received under legal deposit, have been collected since 1998.
    Bibliographic records of component parts of documents. Over 978,298 bibliographic records of component parts of serials (magazines, newspapers, almanacs, scientific works, etc.) and monographs, released in Lithuania and received under legal deposit, have been collected since 2003.
    Bibliographic records of retrospective bibliography. The collection includes over 24,336 bibliographic records of books in Lithuanian (1547-1864 and 1905-1917), small prints (1918-1940), and Lithuanian periodicals, published in Lithuania (1910), Lithuania Minor and the USA (1896, 1897).
    Lituanica bibliographic records. Over 54,000 bibliographic records of books, serials, and their component parts (articles), published abroad, yet related to the Lithuanian language by authorship or topic, have been collected since 2003.
    Judaic Catalogue provides 2463 bibliographic records of printed material in Hebrew and Yiddish, published in Lithuania (from the beginning of Jewish book printing till 1940) and stored at the National Library.
