She studied at the Lituanica Chair of the Lithuanian World Community with Prof. Violeta Kelertienė. In her research, she mainly applies historical and verbal history methods.
Currently her main research work is “Verbal History 2: war and post-war reminiscences by second generation displaced persons”, which, by applying a verbal history method, records and investigates reminiscences of the second generation of the second wave of Lithuanian emigration about World War II, the post-war period in Germany and, subsequently, in the USA. The research is a continuation of the first project “The Project for the Verbal History of Lithuanian Americans”.
