The Director of the National Library’s Documentary Heritage Research Department, a doctorate graduate from Vytautas Magnus University (Philology), a member of the non-governmental organisation of the Baltic countries BaltHerNet and the Vice-Chairperson of this organisation’s Board, a member of the Association for the Advancement of Baltic Studies (AABS) and a member of the Common Ground Research Network. In October 2013, had an internship at the Lithuanian Culture Institute in Germany and in October 2017, at the Lithuanian Research and Studies Center in Chicago, USA. In 2018, she was bestowed the award of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania for research on librarianship, bibliography and book science and practical activity at libraries.

Her research interests include changes in communication strategies in the press of the Lithuanian diaspora in the 20th–21st centuries and issues of the preservation, research and promotion of the documentary heritage held at memory institutions.

A compiler of 3 books and author of more than 60 research and science popular articles as well as author of more than 20 presentations at research conferences in Lithuania and abroad.
