Project “Interactive Website Documentary Heritage of the Oginski Noble Family”

Aim of the project
Provide the Lithuanian and foreign audiences with access to the most important heritage of the Oginski noble family of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania stored at the Lithuanian institutions of historical memory.

Tasks of the project
Prepare digital images of the objects and their descriptions.

Introduction of the project
The website will contain information about the ancestry, private life, domestic, diplomatic, political, and cultural activities of the Oginski noble family and the dissemination of these activities around the world as well as documents representing cultural, religious, historical and geographic contexts of the multidimensional activities. The project is implemented as part of the commemoration programme to mark the 250th birth anniversary of Mykolas Kleopas Oginskis.
