Guided Tours

The Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania is once again offering free tours of the library for individual visitors and organised groups. A guide will introduce you to the spaces and services available at the library as well as the history of its building. Duration: approx. 1 hour.

The duration of the tour is about 1 hour. Tours are provided  for organised groups of 5–10 persons in Lithuanian, Russian and English.

Before arriving to the Library, please make yourself familiar with changes in the Library's operation. 

Visitors to the National Library are kindly asked to leave their outerwear in the self-service lockers located on the 2nd floor in front of the registration and information desk (the lockers are activated by 1 euro coins). After securing your outerwear, please return to the lobby where you will be greeted by a guide.
