A lecture by Prof. Shulamit Ramon “Social Work in War Torn Contexts and Resilience“

Monday 30 October, 6 pm Vilnius Jewish Public Library of  Lithuanian National Martynas Mažvydas Library invites you to a lecture by Prof. Shulamit Ramon “Social Work in War Torn Contexts and Resilience".

The event will take place at the Vilnius Jewish Public Library (24 Gedimino Ave., entrance from the courtyard of the Small Theatre).

Shulamit Ramon, who grew up in Israel and currently lives in the UK, is Professor of Social Inclusion and Wellbeing at the University of Hertfordshire (UH). Her research focuses on the experiences of social workers in war-conflict zones, particularly in the Israeli-Palestinian context. It is this research that she will be presenting in her lecture.

The event will be held in English and admission is free.
