The Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania is presenting an exhibition showcasing the work of its staff.
Showcasing the work of staff from different generations and with a variety of creative outlets, the exhibition reveals the Library’s lesser-known, yet important, artistic side. It reveals the social community of the library, showcasing the staff’s diverse perspectives and creative expressions.
The exhibition was open to professional and amateur artists of all ages and professions working at the National Library. There were no limits on the number of participants, the subject matter of the works, or the means of performance. The most important selection criteria were artistic self-expression and a creative attitude towards oneself and the world around one. Therefore, anything that is enjoyable to create and gives meaning to life, thoughts, dreams or creativity, or simply helps one to relax, was accepted.
This exhibition provides an opportunity for library staff to meet visitors and for visitors to learn more about the library.
