Open Call for Exhibitions at the National Library
The National Library’s exhibition spaces host contemporary art exhibitions and projects that highlight documentary heritage and archival research.
Applications are reviewed by the Exhibition Selection Committee, composed of staff from the National Library’s Communication and Marketing Department, Documentary Heritage Research Department, Information Resources Department, and Children’s and Youth Literature Department.

Exhibition Priorities for 2027–2028
- Exhibitions by creators of fine art, photography, and interdisciplinary art, accompanied by educational programs or creative workshops;
- Exhibitions that reduce social exclusion and promote community spirit or community inclusion;
- Exhibitions and projects that highlight documentary heritage and encourage collaboration with the National Library’s Department of Documentary Heritage Research and the exploration of the National Library’s archives.
Application Procedure
- Applications are accepted annually during the open call period until the specified deadline.
- The current call for applications for the library’s 2027 exhibitions runs from April 27 to May 20.

- Incompletely filled-out application forms, applications lacking required attachments, or applications submitted without a completed form will not be considered.
- The results of the application selection will be sent to the email address provided. The National Library does not undertake to comment on negative responses.
